The Squid log analyzer

SquidAnalyzer

SquidAnalyzer multiprocess benchmark

Since release 6.0 SquidAnalyzer is able to run in multiprocess mode. This mode is simply enabled by executing squid-analyzer using the -j option. This option takes as value the number of CPU or cores that must be used to parse the log file and build HTML reports.

How does it works? That's quite simple. SquidAnalyzer will split the log in the same number of slice than the number of cores specified. Then all these slices will be parsed at the same time. When this part is finished, SquidAnalyzer will use each cores to build the differents HTML reports.
